Meet Our Pastor!
Pastor Beth enjoys serving Franklinville and the plans that God has for the church and community. She has passion for seeing God transform lives and communities as mourning is turned to dancing, shame to abundant life and fear and doubt to trust.
Beth enjoys partnering with organizations, local businesses, other faith communities and other members of the surrounding community to creatively improve life for people locally and elsewhere. She specifically has a heart for sparking relationships with Jesus Christ and encouraging reliance on the Holy Spirit. She states “In the challenging world in which we live, we need each other and we need grounding for our spirits, souls and minds. It is my great joy to share hope for living to all.” “All are welcome at our friendly and loving church,” she emphasizes.
In addition to Pastoring Franklinville, she is also the Senior Pastor at Newfield UMC. She is President of the Greater New Jersey Wesleyan Covenant Association and is an active Trustee for Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association. She previously served on the Bishop of the United Methodist Church of Greater New Jersey’s staff, has served multi-campus, small, rural and suburban churches. She has pastored Korean and Korean American youth in a cross-cultural assignment. She has served in parachurch ministry internationally and in prisons. Her early career was in Human Resources management for various Fortune 50 companies. She holds a Master of Divinity degree from Drew Theological School and a BA in Communications from the University of Pennsylvania.
She and husband Tom enjoy family life with their three children and cat Bella. Exercise, travel, good food, friends and solitude (whenever possible) are a few of her other favorite pursuits.
